House De Sa
The brief from the client was to re-organize the existing internal spaces to adapt to their more modern lifestyle. This 1930 Westdene house was also shouting for a facelift and we found it appropriate to complement the modern interior with a new facade. The under utilized west facing bedroom was sacrificed in order to create a verandah which serves as approach to the new front door.
Existing rooms were given new functions, thus seperating bedrooms from more public living spaces. The kitchen now forms the heart of the home.
